Erica Brighthill, originally from Ottawa, Canada, has established herself as a dynamic country music singer and songwriter, captivating audiences with her enchanting voice and inspiring lyrics. Her journey in the world of country music began at a young age, inspired by her mother's friend and renowned country music icon, Carole Ann King. As a child, Erica was fascinated by Carole's performances at numerous festivals, which ignited her own passion for the genre.
Erica's musical journey has been enriched by the influences of legendary artists such as Shania Twain and Carrie Underwood.
In recent years, Erica Brighthill has been recognized and honored for her contribution to the country music scene. In 2022 and 2023, she was nominated for Country Artist of the Year at the Ottawa Faces Awards. Notably, her music video for her single "Girls Don't Need A Guy to Dance" reached the top 6 for Best Country Music Video at the 2022 Canadian Independent Music Awards, accumulating over 300,000 views to date.
